💍 A Personal Note Before We Begin
My health journey started before I realized it would change my life.
I was 29, newly engaged, and almost 300 pounds. I know weight is just a number—but I didn’t feel good in my body. I had a lot of quiet frustration and body image struggles I didn’t know how to talk about.
I remember shopping for my wedding dress and feeling completely overwhelmed. I was a size 18/20, but the consultant kept pulling size 26/28 gowns because of my shape. Even though I was excited to be getting married, I felt discouraged and out of place.
That season taught me something really important:
We weren’t just planning a wedding—we were building a life. And I wanted one where I felt strong, confident, energized, and healthy.
But I also knew that when I tried to do everything all at once, I burned out.
It wasn’t until I started making small, sustainable shifts that everything changed.

Start your day with protein and fiber.
Starting your morning with a combination of protein (like eggs, Greek yogurt, or a smoothie with protein powder) and fiber (like berries, greens, or chia seeds) helps stabilize blood sugar, fuel your metabolism, and keep cravings away later in the day.
➔ Tip: Think simple — eggs with spinach, or a smoothie with berries and plant-based protein.Hydrate before caffeine — bonus points with mineral drops.
